The 13th Annual PleinAir Salon Art Competition has announced its monthly winners for the July Competition. Sam Paonessa has been selected as the winner of the Best Artist Over 65 Category with their painting titled, “Come to the River”. The judge for the July Competition was Master Artist, Kevin Macpherson. |

The 13th Annual PleinAir Salon Art Competition has announced its monthly winners and honorable mention awards for the August Competition. Sam Paonessa has been selected as the Plein Air Oil Honorable Mention with their painting titled, “Lillies and Lavender”. The judge for the August Competition was Master Artist, Albert Handell.
Paonessa, along with the other 22 winners, is now entered into the Annual PleinAir Salon Art Competition that will be awarded in May 2024 at the Plein Air Convention & Expo. These artists will compete for a $15,000 cash grand prize, and for their painting to be featured on the cover of PleinAir Magazine. All of the July monthly winners will be included in a showcase in the Oct/Nov issue of PleinAir Magazine, the #1 best-selling representational art magazine nationwide. |
